Domestic
Violence Project: Connect and Change
The WTCI has
established a social action project called Connect and
Change, supported by grants from the Far Fund and The
Viola W. Bernard Foundation. Women who have
experienced domestic violence are provided with weekly
pro-bono psychotherapy from experienced psychotherapists
for "as long as it takes." It is our belief that ongoing
psychodynamic work can greatly increase a woman's ability
to move beyond abusive relationships, and secondarily,
have an enormous positive impact on the children of
violent relationships. For more information, please

Speakers
Bureau
The WTCI provides speakers for seminars, conferences,
in-service training and lectures. Topics include women’s
psychology, gendered psychology, feminist relational
psychoanalytic psychotherapy, clinical and theoretical
issues, and the theory and treatment of eating and body
image problems.

The WTCI provides a psychotherapy referral service.
The referral list is comprised of psychotherapists
with a broad range of specializations.
